Standardisation Engineer (m/f/d)

 We are currently looking for our future Standardisation Manager based in Obernai for a permanent contract.

 

You will be responsible for representing Hager Group and driving Hager Group strategic interest in related standard bodies. 

Your mission

  • You drive standardisation and regulation actions for protection devices based on semi-conductor technology, at national and international level
  • You defend the technical and economic interests of Hager Group, internally by supporting product design and range definition, and externally by influencing the evolution of standard requirements.
  • You define and apply the standardisation strategy for semi-conductor protection device, considering the group strategy and interests, in coordination with Group Standardisation team.
  • You participate to the relevant standard committees, consortia and associations.
  • You deliver comprehensive reports on norms and set recommendations.
  • You advice and support our markets
  • You train internal departments with regards to standards evolution

 

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Electronic Engineering) or similar experience.
  • You have technical expertise in the field of electrical installation products, especially protection devices
  • You have several years of experience in engineering and/or product management in the field of electrical installation products and systems
  • You have organisational competences, you are autonomous, creative and flexible
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (c1), German language would be a plus.
  • A strong team spirit is important to you and you have got the ability to work with a multi-cultural environment
  • Mainly national & European and some international travels will be required for the position.
