Innovation Product Manager (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for our Innovation Product Manager for a permanent contract in Karlsruhe, Frankfurt or Obernai for our internal start-up Hager next dedicated to technological exploration and anticipation. This position also includes a standardisation dimension, as it is a major enabler for our new technology.

Missons

Within our internal start-up Hager next and in close collaboration with the engineering and sales teams, you will play a key role in product management and standardisation for our new ranges of innovative products and electrical protection systems. Your main missions are:

• Analyse market evolution, trends and competitors, including product benchmarking (technical & marketing)
• Contribute to product road mapping, integrating standards evolutions and identification of relevant innovations
• Identify customers' pain points, define the optimized value proposition (cost/benefit, search and implement possible differentiation factors (USP) and validate concepts & products with customers
• Define digital journey for relevant targeted customers
• Responsible for the full product technical & marketing specifications to be handed over to engineering
• Responsible to make available all data, documentation, tools and training concept needed to support market launch and success of the products
• Set and apply our standardisation strategy
• Participate to local and international standardisation committees

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or in Marketing with some experience in one of these fields
• You are able to effectively communicate both technical and business concepts
• You are an excellent communicator and fluent in English, French language skills would be a plus
• You are enthusiastic about new technologies and innovations
• Your team spirit and your autonomy will be necessary for this position.
• International travel is expected.
