As a Direct Sourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to Supplier Relationship Management Senior Manager in the Sourcing department based in Bliekastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.

At Hager Group, we are looking for a Direct Sourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) to safeguard our supplier network, ensure legal and ethical compliance, and develop strong contractual frameworks. Your expertise will help us mitigate risks, drive compliance, and create a transparent and accountable sourcing environment.

 

What you will do?

  • Shape Compliance & Risk Strategies: Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks that align with legal regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals.
  • Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Ensure suppliers meet operational, financial, and ethical compliance standards through audits and risk assessments.
  • Define Contract Strategy: Establish clear guidelines for contracts to protect our business while ensuring strong supplier partnerships.
  • Lead Audits & Monitoring: Oversee internal and external audits related to sourcing, ensuring compliance across the supply chain.
  • Empower Sourcing Teams: Provide training, tools, and expertise to help teams proactively manage supplier risks.
  • Drive Governance & Transparency: Implement clear decision-making structures for risk and compliance topics.

 

What about you?

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Law and several years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or compliance.
  • Legal & Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of German and/or French contract law, risk management, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess supplier risks and compliance gaps with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Global Mindset & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with international stakeholders and drive compliance culture.
  • Process & Change Management: Experience in developing frameworks, improving processes, and managing change initiatives.
  • Business Acumen & Accountability: Ability to balance compliance with strategic sourcing needs while driving measurable results.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, with German and/or French.
  • Team: Ability to work in cross-functional teams
