SAP ABAP Architect

We are currently looking for a permanent postion of SAP ABAP Architect for our location in Tychy.

Major duties and responsibilities

• Act as technical subject matter expert, including the ability to provide in-depth application support to internal/external project team members.
• Code-Review of internal/external ABAP developers
• Coordination of external ABAP developers work
• Design and deliver ABAP programming for an S/4HANA release.
• Research, review, and develop required skills for emerging technologies.
• Use coding standards to optimize performance and maintain version control.
• Utilize test driven development to deploy incremental functionality improvements.
• Participate in discussions with key business users in order to understand requirements, clarify and define problems, propose and design solutions, and ultimately deliver an effective operational solution.
• Understand and anticipate critical business and information technology risks, issues, and roadblocks.
• Provide high quality documentation, as well as other written or verbal communications as required.
• Assist in development of object specific training material and conduct all levels of training (user, support, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of SAP solutions, including, but not limited to, S/4HANA, ABAP, RAP, CDS View, and ODATA
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English (level B2)
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand Polish (level B1)
• Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of ATC and its rules
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Code Review experience is a plus
• Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Excellent time management practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• At least 10 years of professional experience in ABAP/SAP developments
