Job denifition:

The Global Payroll Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating payroll operations for mid and small-size countries (< 500 employees)  in accordance with local practices, agreements and laws within the Hager organization.

The Payroll Operations coordinator must have solid experience of functional ‘hands on’ payroll processes within a multi-country and business environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Payroll Operations coordinator will provide leadership on a functional level to local payroll experts, enhance efficiency within systems and data management processes across the region.

Manage relationships and act as the central point of contact with our third-party Payroll provider.

This position reports to the Shared services center Director located in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Support and coordinate country Payroll Experts and Specialists across 20 countries with a total of 1,500 employees.
• Ensure payroll provider compliance with statutory payroll regulations and Collective Local Agreements (CLA’s).
• Lead and coordinate process harmonization and drive efficiency enhancements.
• Drive process enhancement and streamline functionality within the HR landscape.
• Generate payroll reports, analyze payroll data, and support decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with sites and third-party providers for ongoing issues and provide detailed analyses internally and externally.
• Act as the key contact for third-party providers, building strategic partnership relationships with vendors.
• Support the development of local payroll experts through effective training and coaching.

Candidate Expectations:

• • Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Certification in payroll administration (e.g., CPP, FPC) desirable but not required.
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of HR payroll systems.
  • Experienced in working in an international environment and capable of managing a virtual network of local payroll experts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on quality and integrity.
  • Experienced in change management and problem-solving with flexibility and creativity.
  • Proven experience in working with third-party payroll service providers and third-party relationship management.
• Experience with outsourcing HR processes, international assignees, and global reporting.
• Strong ability to interact with finance and HR functions.
• Defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
• Process-oriented towards continuous improvement.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Minimum of 6+ years in payroll/HR-related fields, preferably in a global or multi-country environment.
