About the Role

You will join the Global Sales Function Controlling team, responsible for preparing data, analyses and reports supporting Hager’s sales markets. In this role, you will provide financial support for those countries where Hager does not operate through its own sales subsidiaries, but through export and a network of agents.

As a Function Controller, you will ultimately report to the Controlling Team Manager, with your workplace located in Tychy.

This position is not a Business Partnering role. Instead, it is a key analytical function that:

• Provides data and analyses later used by Business Partners,

• Enables them to conduct discussions with markets and sales teams,

• Influences operational and strategic decisions,

• Supports challenging of local and global actions and plans.

Your analyses and reports will form the basis for managing performance and effectiveness of export activities within Hager Group at an international level. You will also be responsible for ensuring highquality data for the global Export function.

 

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing analyses and reports for the global Export function (sales, results, profitability, costs, investments).

• Analysing trends, deviations and the performance of export markets.

• Ensuring completeness and accuracy of data in SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA.

• Participating in the month-end closing process — preparing variance analyses and explanations.

• Cooperating with accounting departments in multiple countries and with the global Controlling team.

• Supporting Global Business Partners by providing reliable and complete data and analyses.

 

Requirements

Must have

• University degree (preferably in finance/economics/accounting).

• Approx. 2 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.

• Very good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems — SAP S/4HANA preferred.

• English and Polish level minimum B2 (upper intermediate).

• Accuracy, analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of BW/4HANA.

• Experience in a global organisation.

• Experience in sales or export.
