We are looking for our new Mechanical electrical designer to be key part of our continued growth story. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as part of the talented and dynamic Project Support Centre Team and having a direct link into the R&D function, you will finalise the electro-mechanical design for non-standard Tailored Solutions designs, ensuring adherence to the relevant internal and external standards and regulations.
The aim of supporting our innovative Systems Designs for the future growth of our business. The Development Team in Telford is part of a Global R&D Organisation.
What you will do?
- Provide technical support to Project Sales Managers and Tendering Engineers for tailored solutions projects.
- Finalize electro-mechanical designs for non-standard projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematic design, wiring diagrams, and BOM.
- Support production teams during manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Standardize designs for internal use and collaborate with Tendering Engineers for accurate customer orders.
- Continuously improve processes and update knowledge to enhance profitability and customer experience.
Description du profil :
What about you?
- You have a successful first experience in design and applications in an electrical environment; knowledge of manufacturing processes and applicable standards (IEC 61439, IEC 62208).
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders; effective in individual and team contexts.
- Proficiency in 3D software is advantageous; training provided for specific software.
- Strong communication skills and passion to deliver an excellent customer experience.
