As a Sales Engineer - Project you will report to the Area Sales Manager in the Sales department based in Singapore for a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing the project sales and to achieve the growth target that is set for the business.
- Generate a healthy project pipeline (private residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality & healthcare projects) that can be tracked & monitored in CRM in accordance with key goals and targets set in PDI.
- Identify new business opportunities through leads generation, networking and other sales and marketing activities.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
- Focus / enhance relationship with key accounts – Developers / Architects / Interior Designers / M&E Consultants / Panel Builders & Export Customers.
- Conduct regular sales visits and stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Follow up on project leads, generate quotations and reply to customers’ inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct product presentations and trainings to customers as and when required.
- Attend site meetings, address to customers’ complaints and problem troubleshooting.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant internal teams and follow up to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
- Demonstrates strong project management skill and work closely with the logistics / customer service team on order management to execute timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record preferably within the industry.
- Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present and communicate complex technical solutions clearly at all business levels.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within virtual and distributed teams.
- Demonstrates technical aptitude to learn new products and technologies fast.
- Adaptable to take up any adhoc task as given by the superior.
- Willing to travel as and when required.
- Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred.
