We are currently looking for our future Western Australian Sales Manager based in Perth, Western Australia for a permanent contract.

 

 

The Western Australian Sales Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the Sales plan to maintain growth of the business in WA. This task will be accomplished through the management of the WA sales teams and close liaison with senior customer representatives.  

 

Your mission

  • Development of the Western Australia sales plan In consultation with the National Sales Manager taking into account the business and marketing plan
  • Implementation of the sales plan in order to achieve sales targets
  • Development and maintaining of key accounts and new customers
  • Implementation of pricing and margin strategies
  • Management of the Sales team
  • Active participation in relevant industry associations, promotions and key customer relationships to lift the company profile
  • Motivation and development of the Sales team through coaching to deliver continuous improvement
  • Monitoring of Sales Representative visit programs and activities, offer advice and support when required and regularly follow-up on training and succession plans
  • Implementation of L&D training plans for the sales staff in WA

 

Your profile

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets including a track record of winning and maintaining significant new business accounts
  • Capability of establishing long term profitable relationships across all levels of customer organization. (Regional Managers, Area Managers, Purchasing, Store Management and staff, Contractors, builders, specifiers and architects etc.)
  • Strong planning and implementation skills to ensure planned outcomes are successfully achieved
  • Experience in the management of employees would be an advantage
  • Experience in servicing the electrical wholesale market, including coaching and staff development would be an advantage.
  • Motivation to manage a team in the future with your excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM 
  • Strategical thinking and good analytical skills
