We are currently looking for our future Electrical Fitter based in Rydalmere, NSW for a permanent contract.

The Electrical Fitter will be responsible for the assembly of metal ware to make a complete enclosure system and for the wiring of the enclosures in accordance with local wiring regulations and AS3000. You need to be able to interpret the wiring schematics.

Your mission

• Ensuring workplace safety and production quality
• Assembling and wiring of distribution boards, control panels and main switchboards
• Reading and interpreting electrical design drawings, documentation and schematics
• Working as part of the team to meet daily output requirements and exceed customers’ expectations
• Ensuring that all activities are undertaken in accordance with applicable legal requirements, Australian standards and statutory regulations
• Actively participating, complying and assisting with implementing all safety, environmental and quality requirements as outlined in the company’s policies and procedures

Your profile

• Relevant Trade qualifications (desirable), with proven experience building main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels
• Knowledge and skills interpreting switchboard drawings & schematic diagrams
• Ability to wire and connect electrical devices with various tools
• Basic understanding of wiring rules and regulations
• Assembly work and control cabling
• Busbar work (Advantageous)
• Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards
• Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to think and act quickly in a fast paced environment
• Ability to identify and suggest process improvements and new ideas
• A genuine team-player who works effectively with others and self-motivated when working autonomously
• Current Driver’s Licence
