As a Electrical Estimator you will report to the Production Department Manager in the Project Business department based in Rydalmere, NSW for a permanent contract.
We are seeking an Estimator to provide technical and design support for Hager standard and non-standard products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & design switchboards as per clients specifications, AS/NZS61439-2016 assembly standards and quality requirements
- Generate standard drawings of switchboards including general arrangement, single line diagram and bills of materials using AutoCAD
- Working with and being part of the sales team, whilst adhering to Hager’s principles, strategy, culture
- Providing a high level of customer support, liaising closely with customers and sales team to give the best opportunity to achieve a successful sales result.
- Providing quotations for standard Hager ‘off the shelf' products combined with ‘bought-in’ items and value-add components in an accurate and timely manner to customers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Preffered)
- Certifications in Electrical Design, Estimating, and Project Management (Advantageous)
- 5+ years experience in estimating, design, and production of electrical switchboards.
- Expertise in electrical design principles and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Streamgineer, and SAP.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
