We are currently looking for our future Prescription Manager based in Bengaluru for a permanent contract.

 

As a Prescription Manager you focus on prescribing and growing business opportunities to increase revenue for our FDB and MDB solutions. You will collaborate with specifiers, consultants and allocated key accounts to drive the prescription of the Hager product portfolio and solutions in the projects.

 

Your mission

  • Identify projects within the targeted consultants and specifiers to follow these opportunities through the value chain
  • Maintain a robust project pipeline for the allocated branch/region, so that the monthly revenue and order booking targets are fully achieved
  • Work closely and develop relationships with electrical consultants, specifiers and allocated key accounts across the breadth of the Hager India product portfolio to support the delivery of targets in defined regions 
  • Establish Hager as the “first in mind” by engaging with external consultants to ensure they are aligned with Hager’s product and solution offerings
  • Keep the consultants and specifiers updated about the latest changes on our product and solution offerings
  • Conduct technical workshops, seminars, product demos and inhouse seminars
  • Collaborate closely with the Hager Branch Sales teams to ensure the project win
  • Work in coordination with the Sales teams, Branch managers & regional managers to share timely information of projects to achieve targeted business and to extend the support to other regions whenever required
  • Analyse regularly the win/ loss/ open projects along with the regional Sales/ Product Managers/ Marketing as well as the root cause


Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics & Communication
  • Several years (min. 10 years) of experience in the Electrical switchgear industry, in sales/ business development
  • BE/ BTech – Electrical and Electronics
  • Demonstrated success with consultant prescription and several years’ experience in managing consultants with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the architectural sales cycle and the specifications in the selling process in regards to the specific market area
  • Ability to use creativity to exceed goals by differentiating company products from the competition and to passionately talk about our products
  • Consultative and value-based selling skills with knowledge of the Commercial and Residential building process and sequencing
  • Captivating and natural presenter that understands when to listen and which questions to ask to provide value
  • Ability to understand and interpret influencers’ needs, selling a solution rather than a product with passion and interest in technology
  • Proficiency in communication skills of the local language, Hindi and English
  • Willingness to travel
