As a Production Scheduling and Internal Logistics Specialist you will report to Plant Scheduling & Logistics Manager in the Manufacturing department based in Porcia for a permanent contract.
We are looking for a proactive Production Scheduling & Internal Logistics Specialist with expertise in value stream mapping, Kanban systems and flow optimization. You will streamline Logistics processes, optimize production flows and act as a back-up for the manager, ensuring efficiency and continuity in operations.
Your mission
- Streamline Operations: Use value stream mapping to improve production flows and reduce inefficiencies
- Kanban System Management: Design, implement and optimize Kanban systems for materials and inventory
- Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource use
- Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment
- Leadership Support: Serve as the manager’s back-up, supporting decision-making and operational continuity
- Drive Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve internal logistics and production efficiency
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar
- More than 5 years’ experience in scheduling, logistics and production flow optimization
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Expertise in value stream mapping, Kanban systems and lean manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English language skills
