As Maintenance Engineer you will report to the Maintenance Manager in the Manufacturing department based in Porcia for a permanent contract.

 

We are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Engineer to oversee critical initiatives related to the plant extension (Phase 2), maintenance and optimization of existing buildings, and the implementation of sustainable energy management practices. This role will focus on reducing CO2 emissions and replacing the current cooling and heating systems with energy-efficient alternatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within construction, facilities, or energy management.

 

Your mission

  • Plant Extension Phase 2:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute the second phase of the plant extension, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
    • Liaise with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet project specifications
    • Monitor progress and resolve project challenges effectively
  • Building Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Revamping and Improvement of Building Auxiliary Systems and Facilities
    • Develop and implement detailed project plans for the revamping of auxiliary systems and facilities
    • Monitor and evaluate projects to ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
    • Propose and execute solutions to improve building performance and reduce operational costs
  • Energy Management and CO2 Reduction:
    • Analyze current energy consumption and identify areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce CO2 emissions in alignment with organizational sustainability goals
    • Monitor and report on energy savings and environmental impact
  • Cooling and Heating System Replacement:
    • Lead the selection and installation of modern, energy-efficient cooling and heating systems.
    • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the chosen solutions meet technical and environmental standards.
    • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and training of operational staff.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction, energy, or facilities management
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects within budget and time constraints
  • Strong understanding of energy management systems and sustainability practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
