As a Group Controlling Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) for Material Consumption/Stocks/Product Costing/CoGS you will report to Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) Director in the Controlling department based in Blieskastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.
What you will do ?
Bringing more value to the Business, in a cost-efficient way, is our ambition as Controlling Function. To achieve this ambition, Controlling department continues its Transformation Journey, which is based on 3 pillars: Organisation, Planning & Forecasting, Analytics & Digitalisation.
As Group Controlling Subject Matter Expert (SME) (m/f/d) for Material Consumption/Stocks/Product Costing/CoGS, with two peers holding the same position (3 team members), the main typologies of activities are:
- Govern the standards by defining methods, tools and processes
- Develop useful tools supporting the activities and offering centralisation opportunities
- Orchestrate, by scheduling and coordinating the recurring processes which involve local controllers
- Analyse the outcome
- Help and train: be the expert, the technical referent, in a user-oriented way
Reporting to the Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) Director, your main topics are the following:
- About Material Consumption: Central analysis of local material consumptions, forecast of Group material consumption (contribution)
- About Stocks: Local stocks depreciation consolidation, potential centralization of local stocks closing (Balance Sheet)
- About Product Costing: Central mass analysis of product costing technical errors, central analysis of product costing evolutions
- About Cost-of-Goods-Sold (CoGS) variance-to-standard: Central supervision of necessary activities to be performed and analyses of the outcome, advancing the technic and meaningfulness of the KPIs
What about you?
- Bachelor or Master´s degree or equivalent academic qualification
- At least 5 years of experiences in Controlling, ideally both in a local operational role (preferably in Industry) and in a Group role, in an international context
- Hunger for developing/setting up and energy to push through
- Assertiveness
- Ability to work in a transversal mode with collaboration & communication skills
- Strong analytical skills (in structuring and analysing)
- You know perfectly Excel and are comfortable with SAP FI/CO and BW. SaC and/or Power BI would be a plus
- You are fluent in English, French or German language skills would be a plus
