As a Materials Management Specialist (m/f/d), you will report to the Plant Materials Manager within Supply Chain. The position is based in La Roca and offered on a fixed-term contract (12 months).

 

As a Materials Management Specialist, you are responsible for planning, synchronizing, and managing all materials (raw, semi-finished, and finished) across your assigned production areas to ensure optimal product availability within the Hager Group supply network.

 

Tasks

  • Plan, monitor, and optimize materials in SAP; create purchase orders
  • Coordinate with internal, external, and subcontracted suppliers
  • Manage subcontractor materials
  • Process customer orders and communicate availability dates
  • Escalate procurement, material, or customer service issues promptly
  • Support production planning, performance analysis, and inventory optimization
  • Drive problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain/Logistics focus preferred) or equivalent commercial qualification with relevant experience
  • Several years’ experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and product knowledge
  • SAP (MM, SD) and MS Office proficiency
  • Fluent English (French a plus)
  • Customer-focused, responsible, and analytical mindset
  • Strong team, communication, and organizational skills
  • Independent, goal-oriented, flexible, hands-on, and resilient
