As a Plant Materials Manager (m/f/d) you will report to the Supply Chain & Logistics Director SMM Casing in the Supply Chain & Logistics department based in Heltersberg for a permanent contract.

 

Your mission

  • Leading a team (team organization and management, recruitment, employee evaluations, continuous improvement, team leadership)
  • Preparing and conducting monthly Supply Performance Reviews and Master Production Planning based on aligned customer demands and capacity agreements
  • Following up on decisions made during Supply Performance Reviews and preparing decision-making bases for monthly S&OP meetings
  • Continuously adjusting and optimizing master data/parameters (production, logistics, procurement) in collaboration with relevant interfaces & global process owners
  • Setting production priorities and ensuring that customers do not experience long delays due to backlogs
  • Procuring raw materials and components from internal and external suppliers to enable optimal weekly production utilization and synchronizing them for optimal inventory quality as well as managing the lifecycle of raw materials and components, working closely with Lifecycle Management for finished products
  • Generating weekly KPI reports, defining corresponding action plans, and monitoring their implementation

 

Your profile

  • Completed university degree in business administration with a focus on Supply Chain/Logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in a reactive, complex, international, and transversal environment as well as leadership experience 
  • Expertise in material management and in a global industrial supply chain environment with complex and interconnected processes, including project management
  • Knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system and initial experience with planning and analytics tools (PowerBI, SAP Analytics, SAP IBP) is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and German; good knowledge of French is desireable 
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills as well as a high customer orientation and negotiation skills
  • Strong implementation and persuasive skills in change management
  • Willingness to travel
