The Global Text Maintenance Specialist (m/f/d) drives the Translation Management by running translations projects in coordination with requestors (mainly Hager Market Areas), writing product related texts like unique selling propositions, feature text and other editorial content needed for publications and managing text hierarchies in a Product Information Management system and a Translation Management system.

Your mission

• You play a vital role (check, create, validate) in default English text and translations for product related technical data, information and content (webpages, catalogues, brochures, flyers etc.)
• You support translation from default English into several other mainly European languages for product related technical data, information and content
• You facilitate further development of automated translations management within Hager Group
• You create & facilitate development and construction of English default texts
• You run copy-writing projects and adds strong text writing skills in combination with the correct tone-of-voice
• You are familiar with use of AI tooling for text generation.
• You structure & support text-blocks and translations hierarchies for use (and re-use) in the Translation Management system and use in the Product Information Management system
• You act as a key user in the Translation Management system and use in the Product Information Management system

Your profile

• You successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related qualification to understand the technical requirements
• You have got a proven experience in Translation Management or in a similar role
• You are familiar with Product Information Management (Stibo/ STEP) and Translation Management Systems as well as with Translation Memories and Terminology Management
• You have got experience in copy writing, preferable in a technical environment
• With your fluent English language skills (C1) you can easily communicate and collaborate with your international colleagues and German and/or French language skills would be considered as an asset  
• Your strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation skills give you the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• You have got excellent project management skills and organizational abilities
• You are detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Professional certifications or experience in agile/ scrum methodologies are a plus
