As a Global Procurement Risk & Compliance Lead (m/f/d) you will report to Supplier Relationship Management Senior Manager in the Sourcing department based in Bliekastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.

We offer a strategic position in procurement dedicated to strengthening our supply chain resilience through the development and implementation of contractual frameworks that address supplier-specific risks, such as operational supply disruptions, financial stability, and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Additionally, this role helps shaping our future contracting approach and empowering our sourcing teams to navigate risks with confidence and clarity.

 

Your mission

As our Global Procurement Risk & Compliance Lead, you will:

  • Design and implement risk management frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory requirements, business objectives and procurement best practices.
  • Define guidelines for contract strategy, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and contractual standards.
  • Establish governance structures for effective and consistent decision-making across procurement risks and compliance topics.
  • Develop and manage compliance monitoring protocols and tracking systems to ensure supplier adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Create visibility on risk through metrics and KPIs, delivering regular reporting and insights to procurement and executive stakeholders.
  • Empower our sourcing teams by providing training, tools, and expert guidance on supplier risks, regulatory compliance and contract governance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, ESG, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on third-party risk and compliance initiatives.

 

​​​​​​​Your profile

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Engineering or legal) and 5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles.
  • Proven expertise in supplier risk management, compliance, and supplier governance.
  • A problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking, combined with strong legal and contractual awareness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an international outlook.
  • Experience in developing frameworks, managing change, and supporting cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, accountable approach with the ability to drive results and streamline processes.
  • Financial understanding, customer orientation, and the ability to build networks internally and externally.
  • Fluent in English; German and/or French would be a strong advantage.
