The DAM Expert (m/f/d) is responsible for the organization, maintenance, and utilization of digital assets stored within the Digital Asset Management system. This role involves managing the DAM system, providing guidance and support to users, ensuring data structuring and maintenance, and linking assets to various publication structures. The role collaborates closely with local marketing teams and global product management to streamline asset management processes and enhance content accessibility. The position holder will report to the Manager of Product Imagery, Photo, and Video on DAM system performance, usage, and improvements

Your mission

• You manage & maintain the Digital Asset Management system for product related data, information and content, including uploading new assets and ensuring the integrity of existing assets
• You collaborate closely with local marketing teams and global product management to understand asset needs and facilitate efficient asset retrieval
• You ensure & validate digital assets taking into account that for instance naming conventions are followed, meta data is created, licenses structures and expiring dates are respected and secured.
• You work closely together with Value Assurance to create metrics and KPI regarding customer satisfaction for DAM, system usage and data quality
• You act as the key user of the DAM system, providing guidance and support to all users, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing user experience in close collaboration the DAM support colleague
• You link digital assets to various publication structures such as e-catalogues and web shops, ensuring seamless integration for marketing and product management teams
• Together with the Publication team you set standards and norms for quality and usage of digital assets

Your profile

• You successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related qualification to understand the technical requirements
• You have got a proven experience in Digital Asset Management or in a similar role
• You are familiar with a Product Information System (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
• Your strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation skills give you the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• With your fluent English language skills (C1) you can easily communicate and collaborate with your international colleagues and German and/or French language skills would be considered as an asset
• You have got excellent project management skills and organizational abilities
• You are detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Professional certifications or experience in agile/ scrum methodologies are a plus
