As a Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) Traded-Goods you will report to the Category Sourcing Management Teamleader in the Sourcing based in Blieskastel, Obernai or Saverne for a Fixed term contract.

You will support and implement sourcing initiatives in cooperation with Category Managers and Product managers for Traded goods products in Europe and Asia.

🎯 What you will do?

• Support the management of supplier panels and perform supplier evaluations by applying best practice methodologies in line with stakeholders
• Ensure sourcing tasks related to the portfolio (Master datas, overviews updates, negotiations….)
• Support other departments/Hager organization for any demands related to the suppliers
• Respond to unforeseen supply failures, working with manufacturing and suppliers to avoid supply chain interruptions
• Establish strong working relationships with strategic suppliers and partners of respective categories and other external business partners to optimize value creation through the global supply base and apply supply contracts with suppliers
• Act as the primary interface with strategic suppliers and other external business partners with the goal to build strong business relationships
• Collaborate with internal key stakeholder (e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, Application Centers) to lead business opportunities and competitive advantages, leveraged by the global supply base of the Hager Group

🔎 What about you?

• Master degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering with purchasing experience

• More than three years experience in sourcing for a global acting company or an adequate function closely cooperating with global acting strategic suppliers and/or partners

• Proven track record in supplier management

• Good understanding of production processes and technologies of assigned categories

• Ability to understand cost drivers and how to break down cost structures as well as legal contracts with suppliers

• International exposure; familiar to work within an international and multi-cultural environment

• Team and result oriented and excellent written and oral communication skills

• Fluent English language skills, Germand and/or French would be considered as an asset
