We are currently hiring for a permanent position of Senior ABAP Developer for our location in Bieruń.

The ideal person will have a strong technical mindset — a developer who can:

  • Understand complex problems
  • Analyze them logically and technically
  • Propose effective, scalable solutions

Specific gaps in tools or technologies (e.g., RAP, Fiori) can be filled internally. However, the core technical thinking, curiosity, ownership, and problem‑solving approach must be strong, as it will be evaluated during interviews.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement object-oriented ABAP solutions for enterprise-wide S/4HANA deployments.
  • Develop efficient and maintainable code using ABAP OO, ALV reports, ALE, BAPIs, OData integrations and JSON-based interfaces.
  • Stay current with emerging SAP technologies and continuously enhance technical capabilities.
  • Apply coding standards to ensure performance, maintainability and proper version control.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze problems, propose solutions, and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting internal and external project teams.
  • Identify and mitigate business and IT risks, technical issues, and roadblocks.
  • Produce clear, structured technical documentation and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Prepare and update training materials; conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions for users and support teams.
  • Support user acceptance testing and contribute to smooth release delivery.
  • (Nice to have) Work with RAP and SAP Fiori, understanding that exposure may vary depending on project scope.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in ABAP/SAP development.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and clean, structured coding principles.
  • Deep expertise in ABAP OO and integration technologies, especially:OData services or JSON interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Polish and English at minimum B2 level.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and time‑management abilities.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

Nice to have:

    • RAP
    • SAP Fiori/UI5 experience
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
