As a Accountant Assitant you will report to [N+1 Jobtitel] in the [department name] based in Shah Alam for a Permanent contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) managing vendors and suppliers by processing invoices, verifying payments, and ensuring timely and accurate payments while adhering to company policies and procedures. and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) managing customer payments, ensuring timely collections, verifying and posting receipts and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances.and resolving discrepancies.
- Treasury Tasks – Check and issue payment for staff claims, Bank Reconciliations
- General office administration works
- Any other ad-hoc accounting assignments / tasks assigned by Superior / Management from time to time
- Maintain strong relations with other team members to collaborate and share best practices
- In the spirit of learning and collaboration among team members, participate and accept other tasks assigned by the management
Qualifications and Requirements Expected:
- Accounting Diploma
- Accounting / Finance Degree (CA or CPA desirable)
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in managing Account Payable and Account Receivable
- [Significant] experience/customer in technical accounting
- Experience as account assistant highly desirable
Skills:
- Excellent customer and people management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
