We are currently looking for our future Group Controlling Reporting & Analysis Manager (m/d/f) based in Obernai (France) or Blieskastel (Germany) for a permanent contract.


Your mission

As Group Controlling Reporting & Analysis Manager, you lead the teams responsible for standard reporting, master data & data structuration management and technical developments in BW/BI tools. In addition you contribute to define the roadmap to develop your perimeter towards the targeted Controlling operating model and ensure its execution.


Reporting to the Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) Director, your missions and the activities you supervise are the following:


Management Reporting & Analysis (5 persons) :

  • Run near twenty standard reporting (e.g. about Turnover, Selling- and purchasing- prices evolutions) at different frequencies (daily, monthly, quarterly), in compliance with a defined Service Level Agreement.
  • Centralise a part of reporting activities done locally today.


Master Data & data structuration management (1 person) : 

  • Lead costs centers master data governance and management and maintain Group analytical data structuration (e.g. Profit centers, Cost centers, Chart of accounts, …)
  • Maintain Controlling authorizations model and its application
  • More globally, develop and structure Controlling master data governance with target to increase master data quality, relevance and integrity.


BW/BI development  (1 person) : 

  • Maintain existing queries and dashboards
  • Develop new ones according to given specification by requesters
  • Take part in BW/BI governance.


Development of your perimeter towards targeted Controlling operating model :

  • In the frame of a Controlling organisation evolution, a target Controlling operating model has been defined. For your perimeter, it consists mostly in centralizing some activities done locally today, or at function level. You contribute in defining the multi-years roadmap and execute consequently the related action plans.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience in Controlling on an international scale, with an experience in standard reporting. Ideally, you’re part of an FP&A department in a large Group.
  • You are interested and skilled in both ensuring the daily business service quality, but also strategic and development-oriented in order to shape further your perimeter by pulling-in activities.
  • You’re capable to work in a transversal mode, you’ve solid target-group-oriented communication skills and take naturally a backbone role (standing tall, determined, creating adoption)
  • You know well Excel, ideally also SAP BW4HANA, SAP SaC or PowerBI.
  • You are fluent in English. French or German language would really be a plus.
