We are currently looking for our future Group Events & Communication Specialist (m/f/d) based in Frankfurt am Main or Blieskastel for a fix-term-contract 15 month.

We are offering a position as Group Events & Communication Specialist (m/f/d) within our Group Communications Team (Region of Strasbourg, Alsace / Saarland, Germany). It is a temporary position as a parental leave replacement. The duration is 15 month and could eventually be expanded.

We are looking for a highly motivated new colleague to join us in creating and realising concepts for the major internal & international Group events and developing strong internal & extrernal communication campaigns.

What exciting opportunities await you

• You will be responsible to develop and realise integrated concepts for the major Group events such as Symposium, MSS, HG Awards, in digital or physical form (Hager Forum or international venues)
• You will organise and manage these events including budget supervision and related communications internally and externally in close collaboration with the concerned functions and project teams
• You will lead cross-functional and international project teams, including the selection and management of external providers and partners
• You will represent Group Comms as center of competence for Group events towards all kinds of Stakeholders, from the Vorstand to the international colleagues. In this function you will consult all stakeholders when it comes to organising or improving event organisation

• You will develop integrated communication campaigns, including the creation and implementation of relevant and impactful stories (with links to our strategy, transformation, or EVP, or current topics) for our internal and external communication channels

• You will manage the strategic analysis and KPIs of the events and work out improvement potentials. You monitor trends and important developments in the event sector (i.e. sustainability etc.) and continuously improve the event techniques as well as the audience’s experience

What you ideally bring with you

• You bring along a great motivation and enthusiasm especially for the area of employee communications and event management
• Based on at least 5 years of relevant work experience (mandatory), you have a strong ability to translate complex & strategic topics into relevant stories and event concepts
• You are creative and curious and keen to develop new concept ideas or event formats for our various communication channels and to implement them yourself
• You are well structured & organised, can work independently and are keen to continuously reinforce the impact of your work
• You are flexible, agile and resilient when it comes to times with high pressure and stress and are able to take quick (pragmatic) decisions based on sometimes incomplete information
• You have an open nature, like to approach people and enjoy working in a team with others
• Of course - but just to be on the safe side - we assume that you have a very good command of English and enjoy team play with teams located in Blieskastel (Saarland) and Obernai (Alsace)
