We are currently looking for our future Controlling Business Partner Director (m/f/d) based in Blieskastel (Germany) or Obernai (France) for a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Controlling Vice President, you have the Controlling responsibility of the Manufacturing Activities of all Production sites worldwide.

Your mission

• As a member of the Controlling Leadership Team you contribute to the ambitions and business priorities of the Function with a highly performing and strategic forward thinking Controlling team and an active and strong partnering role
• As a Business Partner you manage enterprise risk and opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, drive cost reduction efforts, set-up and maintain the financial (and partly non-financial) steering model
• You will actively contribute and assist in the preparation of the annual integrated financial planning process (IFP), the intra-year integrated forecasting processes (IFF) as well as the three-years plan (capacity projection, resources, costs, expenses, ROI) for the activity
• Support the ongoing transformation of the manufacturing perimeter through rationalization and capacity investment, and new operating model to ensure profitable growth
• Special attention to be paid upon ensuring that suitable costs and profitability ratios are maintained, and the productivity is continuously improved
• Manage the Manufacturing Controlling teams, corresponding to around 40 people located in 9 countries (Total cost volume to be managed > 500m€ in labour and production overhead, total investment value of 150m€ per year)
• Coordinate & develop the international manufacturing controlling organization & an increasing Business Partner mindset. Actively participate to shape the Group Controlling organization by further strengthening a state-of-the-art organization & processes
• Support continuous improvement and harmonization of the manufacturing controlling processes and database to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Create consistent transparency of financial results not only in classical finance reporting like P&L, but especially by enriching the steering model for all manufacturing operations
• Consistently implement the Group Financial Manual requirements and best controlling practices

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master´s degree or equivalent academic qualification Degree in Finance - business administration or equal qualification
• Minimum 15 year experiences in Business or Controlling Leadership position within an industrial & international company with a Controlling Business Partnering organization
• Strong skills in Controlling & Finances
• Knowledge in Excel, SAP R3 and BW4HANA and ability to accompany the Controlling & Finance organization on the move to the new SAP/S4 in 2023
• Business awareness, customer centricity and passion for innovation
• Strategic and collaborative mindset
• Very good communication skills, self-driven & result oriented way of working
• Fluent in English, French or German language would be a plus
• Willingness to travel (max. 20% with some variations over the year depending on the period)
