Business Development Manager - Panel Builder (m/f/d)

We are looking for our future Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for our panel builders segment based in France (Paris or Obernai), Germany (Blieskastel or Frankfurt) or near any European international airport.

Reporting to the Vice President Project Business Segment, you will join our dedicated team and actively contribute to optimize the impact of our initiatives to accelerate profitable growth and customer satisfaction.


In this role, your main missions will be to:


  • Set up the panel builders partner network within the all the European countries.
  • Define the action plan with countries, especially with the Project Segment Business Leaders
  • Drive and support the loyalty program deployment
  • Define, build up and sustain loyalty plans for panel builders (and potentially for other project business relevant target customers) across the countries, in cooperation with the MAs sales organization
  • Animate the panel builders and internal stakeholders network
  • Coordinate all related activities for the panel builders needs within all departments such as Customer Marketing, Solution Development Marketing, Supply chain, IT
  • Coordinate global projects/accounts based on business opportunities (all customer segments)
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives serving the project business segment, not limited to panel builders segment
  • Lead, manage or contribute to dedicated internal projects (tasks) according to the strategy


In this role, you will be accountable for the turnover and the margin of the panel builders business.


The Business Development Manager is a key position within the company and as such requires to be a self-starter who possesses high customer orientation, flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and capacity to think at a high-level strategic caliber while managing daily tasks and support.


Your profile


  • Completed university studies with commercial, marketing or business development background
  • At least 8 years of experience in a BtoB business development or sales role
  • Technical knowledge in an electrotechnical environment or attached industries. Experience with a panel builders network would be a plus
  • Very good understanding of sales strategy, sales performance and dedicated tools
  • Excellent communication, change management and leadership skills
  • Analytical skills and excellent knowledge of data analysis tool capabilities
  • Project management experience and customer centricity
  • Good spoken and written language skills in English and German
