As a Function Controlling Team Leader (m/f/d) you will report to Shared Service Director in the Controlling based in Tychy  for a Permanent contract.

 
Key Responsibilities
 
Team Development:
 
- Lead, manage, and develop the existing team (with further team growth planned)
- Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities
- Actively participate in recruitment processes in cooperation with the HR team
- Support competency development and facilitate training based on identified needs
- Build a high-performance, ownership-driven team culture 
 
Transformation:
 
- Lead and coordinate the transfer of tasks and knowledge from local controlling teams to the central M&S Function Controlling team
- Design, document, implement, and safeguard standardized controlling processes,
 including:
  - budgeting and forecasting
  - monthly closing
  - management reporting
  - cost controlling
- Ensure scalability and consistency of processes across entities
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through standardization
 
Execution:
 
- Take full accountability for team performance, quality, and timely delivery
- Oversee key controlling activities such as planning cycles, closing processes, reporting, cost controlling, and audits
- Ensure high-quality data and insights to support business decision-making
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Controlling, Finance, and Marketing & Sales
- Act as a key point of contact and influence decision-making through financial insight
 
Your Profile:
 
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling (Sales/Commercial Controlling is a plus) 
- Proven team management experience (or leading projects/initiatives)
- Experience in building, developing, or scaling teams is an advantage
 
- Strong background in transformation, transition, or change management
- High level of ownership, independence, and accountability
- Strong analytical thinking combined with excellent communication skills
 
- Ability to manage stakeholders and work effectively in an international environment
- SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus
- English and Polish at minimum upper-intermediate level
