As a Sales Engineer - Diffuse you will report to Area Sales Manager in the Sales department based in Shah Alam, Malaysía for a permanent contract.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and responsible for the dealers/channels sales turnover, price-evolution, and inventory.
  • Manage and grow sales relating to key dealers (project sales-trough, diffused sales, sub-dealers) as team leader
  • Ensure successful acceptance of Hager solution and value proposition to maximise monetization of channel business relationship
  • Contribute  to  the  sustainable growth  and  development  of  key  dealers by:
    • Ensure  &  facilitate  that  purchasing,  pricing,  product  information  is  communicated  effectively  to  the  channel's  staff
    • Ensuring  channels are  visited regularly and capturing all available opportunities where applicable
    • Co-ordinate  training  of  channel's  key staffs (sales, marketing, technical)
    • Providing  market intelligence about channels’ and costumers’  wants and needs while enforcing Hager value proposition to them
    • Executing business risk management and compliance of the channels
  • Liaise  with  product  marketing  staff  to  develop  promotional  activities  &  increase  Hager value proposition with  channels and channels’ customers(sub-dealers)
  • Liaise and collaborate closely with Project Sales team to ensure smooth execution of project sales-through, initiated by tender/project order from project sales accounts to channels (distributors/wholesalers)
  • Contribute to pricing policy, promotions, & rebate to dealers if applicable.

 

Qualifications and Requirements Expected:

  • Engineering Diploma / Degree (preferably Degree in Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Business or Marketing Degree
  • Demonstrated Experience in LV market preferred

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in dealers/channels management with strong flair of marketing preferred
  • At least 5 years of Experience in residential/commercial construction

 

Skills: 

  • Leadership and management skills preferred
  • Excellent customer and people management experience
  • Marketing and sales skills relating to product/solution in building technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
