About the Role

Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Hager’s supply chain operations across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing supply and inventory plans that ensure the right products are available at the right time while optimising inventory investment and service levels.

Working closely with local and international stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners, you’ll coordinate key operational activities including inventory management, international shipments, stock transfers, and annual stocktake processes. You’ll also be at the forefront of driving data visibility and continuous improvement, leveraging tools such as SAP, SQL, and Power BI to develop insights, automate reporting, and support more informed business decisions.

This role offers the opportunity to influence supply chain strategy, contribute to Hager’s transformation agenda, and play a key role in delivering operational excellence across the Pacific region.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Supply & Inventory Planning

  • Develop and manage supply and inventory plans to achieve optimal stock levels and customer service outcomes.
  • Monitor inventory performance, analyse trends, and take proactive action to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate incoming international shipments, local purchasing activities, and stock transfers.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain reports that support operational and inventory decisions.
  • Own and maintain Supply Chain master data for the Hager Australia and New Zealand portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and ongoing data integrity.

 

Data Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse supply chain performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate KPIs and reporting tools to improve visibility of supply and inventory performance.
  • Leverage SAP, Power BI, and other systems to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Support strategic supply chain projects as part of Hager’s ongoing transformation agenda.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams, overseas colleagues, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure effective supply chain execution.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business to support planning, inventory management, and operational decision-making.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

 

Your Profile

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, or S&OP environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical recommendations.
  • Experience with supply and inventory planning processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Power BI; SAP S/4HANA experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles highly regarded.
