Job Purpose:
The role will lead marketing activities for Main Switchgear Products for increasing Hager market share in India. Closely work with Customers, sales teams, Consultants and other Key stakeholders to build Hager Brand in India.
Job Responsibilities :
- Ensure competitive positioning of Hager new product in the segments that we operate in with a strong value proposition to significantly increase our market share in the segments that we operate in.
- Develop solutions for the target’s segments in India along with Product management and Engineering team.
- Ensure price list management for multiple product lines are competitive and are in tune with the market.
- Manage discounts on solutions offered to customers are competitive and in line with the Gross Margin targets for the business.
- Ensure buying prices for the products are maintained to achieve the Gross margin targets for the business.
- Manage new solution roadmap and idea pool and ensure healthy portfolio.
- Develop New Solutions for new products according to HPLP process.
- Develop and execute new Solution/product launch plans.
- Develop Forecasts for the portfolio and mange stock within Budget for the portfolio.
- Engage with Key Consultants, Builders and Architects to drive Hager Specifications in Commercial and Residential Buildings.
- Ensure timely support to Sales team to increase our market share in the geographies that we operate in.
- Train the Sales Team, consultants, End Users and other key stakeholders on Hager Solutions.
- Plan and execute a Marcom plan for the product portfolio along with the Marcom Team.
- Conduct seminars/workshops for key stakeholders to increase acceptance and awareness of Hager Brand.
- Manage phase in and phase out of products/solutions, develop special offers for Slow Moving and Obsolete stock to ensure quick liquidation.
Professional competencies:
- Engineering Graduate with MBA in Marketing.
- 8-10 years of experience of working in an Electrical Switchgear company
- Product Knowledge of Main Switchgear -ACB, MCCB, Changeovers, Contactors, MPCB and accessories
- Managing a product portfolio main switchgear solution.
- Developing and executing new solution/product launches.
- Forecasting and managing stock of the portfolio.
- End Customer and Panel Builder engagement for portfolio approvals & project participation
- Competition mapping and executing competitive go to market plans.
