As a Branch Manager - Pune you will report to the Regional Manager in the Sales department based in Pune for a permanent contract.

 

As a Branch Manager, you are responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth in the assigned geography, increasing market share and profitability, leading and developing the sales team, and strengthening the Hager Group brand presence in the region.

Your mission

  • Deliver revenue, order booking and collection targets for the branch through disciplined pipeline, key account and project portfolio management.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities across segments, geographies and key accounts with full ownership of results.
  • Drive product and solution prescription with consultants, specifiers and key influencers to create strong market pull.
  • Lead market promotion activities to enhance brand visibility and position Hager solutions across the region.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage channel partners, collections and statutory compliance while ensuring high standards of reporting and governance.

Your profile

  • Engineering degree from a reputed institution; MBA in Marketing is an advantage.
  • 15+ years of sales experience, including at least 10 years in the electrical switchgear industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in a regional or mid-level sales role with direct team management responsibility.
  • Strong expertise in project business and key account management across commercial, residential, infra and industrial segments.
  • Solid technical acumen with the ability to drive solution selling and product prescription.
  • Fluent in local language, Hindi and English, with strong communication, coaching and influencing skills.
