You’ll work with Hager’s cutting-edge range of power distribution systems (800–4000A) designed to support safe and efficient energy distribution with in-house developed switchgear and protective devices.

 

We are looking for our future Quality and Customer Experience Manager to be based in Blieskastel (Saarbrücken, Germany) or Porcia (Pordenone, Italy) on a permanent contract, reporting directly to the Quality Development Senior Director/Vice President Special Missions MDS, & Project Business.

 

Your Mission

As the Quality Development Manager, you will:

  • Lead the Development Quality Organization for Project Business to meet key objectives, by building an efficient quality structure, assessing and implementing operational needs as the high-current project business evolves.
  • Define and implement quality processes tailored to this new strategic business area, ensuring compliance with relevant critical certifications standards  (e.g., IEC 61439-1, IEC TS63107).
  • Drive customer satisfaction by analyzing and addressing feedback, improving product quality and service standards.
  • Manage crisis situations and coordinate with engineering teams for rapid issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, ensuring top-notch quality management from product inception through delivery.

 

What You Bring

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach, fostering engagement with both internal stakeholders and external clients & partners.
  • Proven leadership with analytical skills, resource and budget management experience, and the flexibility to adapt and evaluate evolving project needs.
  • Educational background in engineering or a related field, with experience in panel building, protection/enclosure systems, power switchgear, and controlgear assemblies.
  • Strong expertise in quality processes, such as FMEA, paired with solid analytical and communication skills.
  • To ensure the success in project business across the relevant sites, willingness to travel (30-35% to Obernai, Blieskastel, Porcia, and Emmenbrücke) as well as fluent English skills will enable you to carry out your role smoothly. German or Italian could also be helpful.
