We’re looking for a motivated and detail oriented Merchandiser who enjoys working closely with customers, creating visually impactful displays, and supporting sales growth. About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing merchandising activities across your territory. You will be provided a fully maintained company vehicle to support your day-to-day responsibilities.

You’ll work closely with electrical wholesalers to ensure Hager products are well presented, fully stocked, and positioned for maximum visibility and sales impact. From maintaining stock levels and supporting promotions to building relationships with branch teams, you’ll contribute directly to driving sales performance.

This hands on role provides a strong foundation to build your career within Hager, offering exposure to sales, product knowledge, and customer engagement within the electrical industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Hager products within electrical wholesaler branches to support sales growth 

• Manage stock levels, including conducting stock counts and reordering products as required 

• Ensure product displays are visually appealing and optimised for maximum exposure 

• Build strong relationships with branch staff to support ongoing collaboration and performance 

• Support and participate in company and wholesaler promotions and campaigns 

• Maintain accurate records of stock and merchandising activities 

• Stay up to date with product knowledge and new releases

 

Your Profile

• Previous experience in merchandising, sales, or the electrical/wholesale industry preferred 

• Strong communication and relationship building skills 

• A proactive, hands on approach with strong attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and manage a designated territory 

• Comfortable using computers and basic systems (intermediate skills preferred) 

• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge 

• Full driver’s licence and flexibility to travel within the region
