As a Junior Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to the Plant Materials Manager and support the planning and coordination of materials for our production areas. Your main goal is to help ensure that materials are available when needed and that orders are processed smoothly within the Hager supply network.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Support the planning and monitoring of materials in SAP
  • Create and follow up on purchase orders
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Support the management of materials for subcontracted production
  • Process customer orders and communicate availability dates
  • Help identify and escalate supply or material issues
  • Support production planning, stock monitoring, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities

 

Your profile

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar field
  • First experience or internship in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Materials Management is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and MS Office
  • Fluent English, French is a plus
  • Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop within an international environment
