As a Technical Support Executive, you will report to MAZLIAZHAR ABDUL LATIF in the Sales and Marketing department based in Singapore for a permanent contract.

Hager brand, with products ranging from energy distribution through cable management and wiring accessories to building automation and security systems, represents the core business of our company. This allows us to combine all the skills necessary for the development of innovative products, systems and services required for building automation.
We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Support Executive to be based out of our office in Singapore. This is a key role within Hager Sales and Marketing Team that focuses on the technical support, training, business development and product development of Hager products.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Pre/Post Sales
• Prepare and update training content and conduct product trainings for customers.
• Develop and administer training programs for employees and customers.
• Create training content based on customer requirements.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including site visits when required.
Quotation/BOM/BQ Preparation/AUTOCAD/Shop Drawing
• Prepare quotations based on customer single line drawings.
• Compile quotation details and monitor project success rates together with the sales team.
• Prepare shop drawings for confirmed projects.
Approvals and Certifications
• Act as Hager representative towards local authorities such as Enterprise Singapore, HDB and EMA.
• Ensure all required certifications and approvals remain valid and are renewed on time.
• Monitor test report validity and coordinate renewals where required.
• Coordinate certification processes, audits and approval activities.
• Monitor safety mark usage and compliance requirements.
• Participate in the development of local standards.
RMA (Return Material Authorization) & Quality Assurance
• Check faulty products and update QIM (SAP).
• Monitor warranty cases and product returns.
• Provide faulty product analysis.
• Prepare monthly quality and return reports.
• Participate in monthly quality meetings.
Product Management
• Support management of the regional product portfolio.
• Support offer maintenance, offer gap analysis and product lifecycle activities.
• Support new product introduction, launches and forecasts.
• Support product development and product change activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in technical support and/or product management.
• Experience within the electrical industry will be an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical solutions to different audiences.
• Ability to work in multicultural and multilingual environments.
• Proactive approach and ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel when required.
