About the role
We are looking for our future Controlling Business Partner Sales & Marketing Netherlands based at our site in ’s‑Hertogenbosch.
Reporting to the COBP Manager Sales & Marketing Zone North, you drive the financial performance of the Sales & Marketing Team Netherlands while being part of the local management team. You are also part of the international Controlling Business Partner team.
Your main responsibilities include:
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted partner to the local Netherlands Management Team: interact with decision makers, highlight financial impacts, and provide a solid set of data for decision-making. You take a forward‑looking perspective, identify opportunities and risks, and challenge management with sharp insights.
- You ensure transparent, reliable and clear management information. Through your analyses and conclusions, you support the organization in making well‑considered decisions.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Translate operational plans into financial logic and ensure the consistent application of our Group standards across all processes.
- Be accountable for forecasting accuracy and execution of forecasting processes.
- On a monthly base and considering business context, analyze performance, highlight variances, comment results with a clear status on key levers.
- Co-built and contribute to the implementation of associated action plans when needed. Ensure actions plans proper financial follow-up.
Closing, Reporting & Financial Governance
- Contribute to the monthly closing and reporting preparations in strong collaboration with Accounting team.
- Establish financial indicators reflecting the true image of the operational performance.
KPI Management & Operational Improvement
- Challenge KPIs and their monitoring to increase efficiency through new digital tools.
- Based on KPI analyses, propose relevant and concrete actions to improve operational performance.
Risk Management, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations within the organization. Optimize contract terms, insurance policies and processing agreements in line with applicable laws and regulations. Actively monitor GDPR requirements and ensure that all agreements are properly implemented and adhered to.
What do you bring?
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accounting or similar.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in controlling, finance or business partnering. Experience in the industry and project‑based business is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills: you are able to present complex information clearly.
- You are comfortable in a role where strategy and operations come together.
- Proactive, reliable and someone who takes ownership.
