We are currently looking for our future Regulation Manager (m/f/d) based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

 

 

The purpose of the role is to ensure regulatory affairs activities in his domain, taking care of the technical and economic interests of the group, externally by influencing the evolution of regulations and legislations and internally regarding the regulatory compliance of the offer.

 

Your mission

  • Drive clear internal positions and implement regulatory strategies externally aligned with business goals
  • Monitor changes in regulations and legislation and coordinate with related subject areas within the Influence & Standardisation team
  • Assess associated risks and opportunities, as well as enable the organisation to make decisions that take these changes into account – in close collaboration with experts and decision makers from System & Product Management, Marketing & Sales, Engineering, Legal, Information Technology & AI, and Quality & Environment.
  • Represent Hager on international and national level in regulatory forums, hearings, policy working groups, at utilities, industry associations and alliances; contribute to Hager events

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public policy, engineering, environmental science, law, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, standardisation, energy policy, or a related discipline, preferably in the clean energy or building sector
  • Knowledge of building decarbonization, electrification technologies, utility regulation, and climate policy; combined with business acumen
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in German or native-level proficiency is an advantage; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
