Publication Quality Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Publication Quality Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to Product Information Manager Publication Portfolio based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

 

As Publication Quality Specialist (m/f/d), you are responsible to assess, improve and coordinate quality and on-going fitness-for-purpose of localized product information in global publications delivered to specific markets, based on publication checks or input given by Publication Portfolio specialists. You support the markets in daily business tasks to adapt global default publication to their local needs for all portfolio categories. This role ensures localized publication structure and content assignment and maintenance according to aligned market time schedule. It involves clear understanding of market specific adaptions, analysis of not realized market tasks and regular testing.

 

What will you do?

  • Build-up and document expertise of local business requirements, high runner and market specificities for all supported markets to learn and optimize next deliveries and to clarify portfolio inconsistency
  • Support maintenance and assignment of aligned localized content to publication structures or marketing fields in technical product hierarchy
  • Support markets via requirement tickets in daily business tasks to adapt global default publication to local needs (publication type, sort order, suppress categories, adapt assets, asset assignment to publication in local contexts)
  • Take part in weekly meeting to assess and plan new market support tickets - identify, estimate and assign tickets for Publication team after priority and urgency is clarified
  • Align with Value Assurance team for localized publication deliveries, due dates and estimated resources

 

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of three years of work experience
  • Knowledge about Product Information Management and product knowledge would be a plus for the role
  • High affinity  for technical products, data and digitalization
  • Team player with strong communications skills in English (German and/or French would be a plus) and ability to act as an interface between the markets and the internal teams
  • Adaptability to be able to change perspectives and understand the different needs and request from internal and external
