As a Sourcing Operations Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to the Sourcing Operations Manager based in one of our Hager  sites (China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, UK) for a permanent contract.

 

The Sourcing Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) ensures the efficient execution of administrative and operational sourcing activities, but also coordinates, steers, and optimizes these activities at local level. 

Acting as a key support to the Sourcing Operations Manager, the role drives alignment, prioritization, and performance across Sourcing Operations Specialists, ensuring consistency, process adherence, and high service quality.

 

 

What you will do

  • Operational Coordination & Activity Steering:

Coordinate and align daily operational activities across Sourcing Operations Specialists

Support workload prioritization and ensure optimal task distribution in line with business needs and SLAs

Act as a first point of contact for operational topics and escalations

Ensure proper request handling via official channels (ticketing, shared inbox, etc.)

  • Execution & Operational Excellence

Ensure the accurate and timely execution of administrative and operational sourcing tasks (e.g. SRL updates, invoice follow-up, data maintenance)

Guarantee data accuracy across sourcing transactions and ensure documentation is properly maintained and accessible

Drive continuous improvement in daily operations by identifying inefficiencies and proposing pragmatic solutions

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor operational KPIs (SLA adherence, backlog, processing times, data quality)

Identify deviations and trigger corrective actions with the team

Support reporting activities and provide performance insights to the Sourcing Operations Manager

  • Process Governance & Compliance

Ensure consistent application of sourcing processes, SOPs, and governance rules

Act as a guardian of process discipline within the team

Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

  • Stakeholder & Supplier Interface

Act as a coordination interface between Sourcing Operations Specialists, Category teams, and suppliers

Ensure smooth communication and alignment across stakeholders

Support resolution of complex or cross-functional operational issues

  • Transformation & Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and ways of working

Support implementation of transformation initiatives (e.g. digital tools, automation, ticketing systems)

Promote a proactive, solution-oriented mindset within the team

 

What about you?

  • Education & Experience :You hold a relevant degree and have solid experience in sourcing operations, procurement support, or similar roles

You have demonstrated ability to coordinate activities or support team organization in a complex environment

  • Operational Excellence & Analytical Skills : Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured approach.

Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights

  • Coordination & Communication Skills : Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to influence without formal authority and facilitate collaboration across teams, service-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Tools & Systems :Proficiency in sourcing and procurement tools (e.g. SAP, Ariba), comfortable working with data and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI is a plus)
  • Languages :Fluent in English , German and/or French is a plus
