We are looking for a Reporting and Controlling Analysis Specialist who will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the areas of:

 

  • Inventory levels,
  • Material consumption,
  • Product cost calculation,
  • Cost of Goods Sold variance-to-standard (COGS variance-to-standard).

 

The new team in Poland will become part of a global department providing centralized support to the Controlling organization and all Group entities by preparing reports, data, calculations, and analyses related to the above areas.

The position is based in Bieruń (Śląskie).

As a Junior Controlling & Reporting Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to Controlling SME Leader in the group controlling based in Bierun  for a Permanent contract.

You are a good fit if you:

 

  • Hold a university degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have some initial experience in controlling, finance, accounting, data analysis, or a similar area (internships and student experience are also welcome).
  • Enjoy working with numbers, data, and business processes.
  • Have good Excel skills and are comfortable learning new systems and tools.
  • Are interested in SAP, Business Intelligence tools, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrate a proactive mindset and actively look for opportunities to improve processes.
  • Take ownership of your tasks and enjoy finding solutions independently while collaborating with others.
  • Have strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment.


What will you be doing?


As part of our newly established Subject Matter Experts Controlling team, you will support colleagues across the Hager Group by preparing analyses, reports, and business insights related to inventory, material consumption, and product costs.


Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Working with SAP, BW/4HANA and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
  • Preparing regular reports, analyses, and data summaries.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities and variance analysis.
  • Monitoring data quality and identifying inconsistencies in transactional data.
  • Supporting product costing and inventory-related controlling processes.
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different countries and business units.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Gradually building team expertise in inventory controlling, material consumption analysis, and product costing.
