As a Maintenance Manager you will report directly to the Plant Manager in the Manufacturing department based in Arenzano or Genova for a permanent contract.

 

The Maintenance Manager will operate in an advanced industrial environment, where product quality and process efficiency play a key role. The position is critical to ensuring the availability, reliability, and safety of production equipment.

 

Your mission

  • Ensure the continuity and effectiveness of maintenance activities on production equipment.
  • Contribute to the planning and management of the maintenance budget.
  • Organize and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, emergency interventions across shifts, and manage the maintenance workshop and technical warehouse.
  • Lead technical analyses with the team, with a strong focus on equipment failures, downtime, finished-product scrap, and all events impacting quality, output, and safety.
  • Ensure the training of employees, guaranteeing compliance with company and national regulations, especially in the areas of safety and maintenance.
  • Lead the team with a proactive and results-oriented approach, supporting the introduction of new technologies (e.g., AI-based maintenance) in collaboration with the Maintenance HQ function.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related scientific disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment (latest role), preferably in continuous-process operations, with at least 2–3 years in a comparable position.
  • Strong technical/ methodological competencies (Lean Manufacturing, TPM) to manage complex production technologies.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methodologies, systems, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • English language skills (B1) would be benefical
